Audit bundle export guide
The audit bundle turns certificate records into one PDF package that can be shared with an accountant, bookkeeper, or auditor.
When to export
Use the audit bundle when you need to:
- review active and expired certificates;
- send records to a CPA or SALT advisor;
- respond to a state audit request;
- archive certificate evidence by date range or state;
- verify that approvals and renewals are being tracked.
What the bundle includes
An audit bundle includes:
- cover sheet with merchant and export context;
- filters used for the export;
- state-grouped table of contents;
- certificate metadata;
- approval and status history;
- signed certificate PDFs or generated certificate evidence.
The exact certificate evidence depends on the original submission source: uploaded PDF, generated form, CSV import with attached PDF, or magic-link upload.
How to export
- Open Apps > Resale Proof > Audit bundle.
- Choose optional approval-date filters.
- Choose all states or a specific state.
- Click Generate audit bundle.
- Download the ready export from Past exports.
For large accounts, export smaller date ranges if the bundle would contain hundreds of certificates.
What it does not do
The audit bundle is not a legal opinion and does not guarantee that a state will accept a certificate. It gives you organized evidence: what was submitted, when it was approved, what state it covered, and what certificate file was retained.
